How we get paid

For business, vehicles, equipment finance and consumer finance, fundr and the financial adviser receive commissions from the various finance providers we work with.

If you decide to take out a loan, the lender will pay a commission to fundr and your financial adviser. The amount of the commission is calculated through an agreed base rate between the lender and fundr. The advisor will then add a margin above the base rate to reflect the commission paid.

Fees and charges

fundr charges a broker fee for every deal we process. This fee can vary between $0 - $1000 and is included in your loan structure/repayments. The fee charged relates to providing specialised assistance with sourcing the right finance solutions to meet your needs and objectives.

If you do not enter into the credit contract, you will not be charged. Please note the finance provider will also have fees and charges relating to the processing of your deal and loading security on the PPSR. All fees and charges will be disclosed to you upfront upon approval from the finance provider.

Conflicts of interest and incentives

To ensure that our financial advisers prioritise the client’s interest above their own, we follow an advice process that ensures our recommendations are made on the basis of the client’s goals and circumstances. All our financial advisers undergo annual training about how to manage conflicts of interest. We undertake a compliance audit, and a review of our compliance programme annually. We maintain registers of conflicts of interests, and the gifts and incentives we receive.

fundr and our financial advisers can receive commissions / brokerage from the finance providers on whose products we give financial advice. If you decide to take out the loan, the finance provider will pay a commission / brokerage to fundr at time of settlement.
